可以看成一个政治思潮。其主张看起来有点将现实主义和自由主义混在一起的感觉（其
实也不像二者）。与现实主义不同的是： 新保守主义主张利用美国的权力（甚至是武
力），来推行某些自由观念；但是，典型的现实主义会主张对外政策以维护国家利益而
不是意识形态为目标，要慎重使用权力，动武更要谨慎等等。这也可以理解为什么许多
