1.我们既因信称义,就借着我们的主耶稣基督,得与神相和。
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2我们又借着他,因信得进入现在所站的这恩典中,并且欢欢喜喜盼望神的荣耀。
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now
stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3不但如此,就是在患难中,也是欢欢喜喜的。因为知道患难生忍耐。
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that
suffering produces perseverance;
4忍耐生老练。老练生盼望。
perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5盼望不至于羞耻,因为所赐给我们的圣灵将神的爱浇灌在我们心里。
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into
our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
6因我们还软弱的时候,基督就按所定的日期为罪人死。
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died
for the ungodly.
7为义人死,是少有的,为仁人死,或者有敢作的。
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man
someone might possibly dare to die.
8惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死,神的爱就在此向我们显明了。
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
9现在我们既靠着他的血称义,就更要借着他免去神的忿怒。
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be
saved from God's wrath through him!
10因为我们作仇敌的时候,且借着神儿子的死,得与神和好,既已和好,就更要因他的
生得救了。
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the
death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved
through his life!
11不但如此,我们既借着我主耶稣基督,得与神和好,也就借着他,以神为乐。
Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus
Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12这就如罪是从一人入了世界,死又是从罪来的,于是死就临到众人,因为众人都犯了
罪。
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through
sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--
13没有律法之先,罪已经在世上。但没有律法,罪也不算罪。
for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken
into account when there is no law.
14然而从亚当到摩西,死就作了王,连那些不与亚当犯一样罪过的,也在他的权下。亚
当乃是那以后要来之人的预像。
Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even
over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a
pattern of the one to come.
15只是过犯不如恩赐。若因一人的过犯,众人都死了,何况神的恩典,与那因耶稣基督
一人恩典中的赏赐,岂不更加倍地临到众人吗?
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass
of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the
grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16因一人犯罪就定罪,也不如恩赐。原来审判是由一人而定罪,恩赐乃是由许多过犯而
称义。
Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The
judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed
many trespasses and brought justification.
17若因一人的过犯,死就因这一人作了王,何况那些受洪恩又蒙所赐之义的,岂不更要
因耶稣基督一人在生命中作王吗?
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man,
how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and
of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18如此说来,因一次的过犯,众人都被定罪,照样,因一次的义行,众人也就被称义得
生命了。
Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all
men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that
brings life for all men.
19因一人的悖逆,众人成为罪人,照样,因一人的顺从,众人也成为义了。
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made
sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made
righteous.
20律法本是外添的,叫过犯显多。只是罪在哪里显多,恩典就更显多了。
The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin
increased, grace increased all the more,
21就如罪作王叫人死,照样恩典也借着义作王,叫人因我们的主耶稣基督得永生。
so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through
righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

罗马书 5:1-11
我们因信称义,是神籍着耶稣赐给我们的极大恩典。我们因信称义后,在灵性上已与神
和好、与主联合。虽然如此,我们的肉体却仍有罪性;在世上的日子,我们仍会面对患
难。这患难却是为了磨砺我们,让我们生出忍耐、老练和盼望,因着圣灵的光照和保
守,信心更加坚固。保罗指示我们,被神所救赎与祂和好的人,已获得神极大的 爱!
神把祂的爱丰丰富富地倾倒给我们。当我们还做罪人、失丧的时候,祂把祂的独生爱子
赐给我们,为我们牺牲了。因此我们在基督里的人,应当欢欢喜喜, 因为我们的罪恶
不论多大,都被神无限的恩慈吞灭了。
罗马书 5:1-11是谈因信稱義所帶來的福分, 罗马书 5:12-21是谈因信稱義的原理. 保
罗用比较方法来 论证主耶稣基督的恩典。

恩典是从一人入了世界
保罗多次使用 “更” 以显示 恩 典 要大得多.
“何况神的恩典,与那因耶稣基督一人恩典中的赏赐,岂不更加倍地临到众人吗?”
“何况那些受洪恩又蒙所赐之义的,岂不更要因耶稣基督一人在生命中作王吗?”
“只是罪在哪里显多,恩典就更显多了。”
