Pascal at Fashion Island (French restaurant) is running its $10 menu again--
rack of lamb, filet mignon, jumbo shrimps, & roasted salmon.
yum yum!!
#2. Metrolink (NOT AmTrak) has $10 train ride for ALL weekend long (8/5-8/7
)--from Friday @ 7pm to midnight Sunday. this gives enough times to make
all 60 stops!! Note train ride in CA is a luxury... usually costs more in
money and pain (inconvenient).
happy to report the above silver lining in an otherwise "recessed" economy--
isn't that what ppl on Wall St. are worrying about? :p
