申请了学校，打算再申请F1签证。十分担心签证问题，于是咨询了一个美国律师，他建
议由他代理在签证时向VO提交appearance form。 他要价1500刀， 不知道这个form是
什么东西，是否有必要？？
听他意思这个form可以让vo重视我的case。
有没有大神可以帮我解答？？ |

想问一下有面试经验的同学，你们的通知里面，标题也是“Request for Applicant to
Appear for Initial Interview”？
很好奇，如果是"Initial Interview"的话，难道还有更多的面试？还是所有的面试通
知都是这么写的，"Initial Interview"不关紧要。

后还是被拒了。从拒信内容来看，质疑的是Waiver National In Scope。看看就是没有
交employment letter这种信。 当时自己搞的时候人还没到美国所以没有这些东西，再
说NIW不是说不需要这些东西吗？但这些手里现在都有了，不知道是否appear呢？还是
干脆重新递交一个算了，但就是可惜损失了1年多的排期。 |

ticket是court appearance required,说三周后会寄来罚单和上庭指示。我查了一下发
现IL从14年开始把超速超过26迈归类为Class B misdemeanor, 重则可能有jail time，
而且可能影响外国人的身份问题（她是H1B）。鉴于她这次是初次拿ticket,想请教一下
哪位同学有相关经验。或者有没有推荐的attorney. 非常感谢。 |

发帖数: 3081 | 8 如果初犯，appearance的时候可以要deal,罚单都会被改。很有可能是改成non moving
violation，然后钱照交。这个不用律师，而且第一次去法院也不是上庭，只是约上庭
时间。约了上庭时间之后，再找律师。如果超速太多，或者多次超速，基本就不一样了
。基本都是找个律师，交钱了事。超速又不是DUI。基本没事。多做功课，知道该说啥
，不该说啥就行。每个地区都不一样，说的也不一定对。给你参考吧 |

contacted one attorney and was told that my wife could actually sign an
affidavit to give him authority appearing in court on her behalf and she
doesn't even need to show up, which sounds new to me in the hearing process.

我比较拖拉了，快到15天才处理这个事 怕来不及都想交钱了事的，可是觉得就是寄支
票去也来不及了，就打ticket上的电话到court去问，他们说还没有处理这个ticket，
我还是可以把那个ticket 寄回去appear, 只要我在那个周五之前寄走，他们在下周五
之前收到就行 其实这么算一算 都超过15天了好几天了， 我还很担心的问那就超过15
天了 我会不会有麻烦？ 超过时间，不会被抓起来之类的吧，那样的话就是多交10倍钱
我也不想惹这个麻烦， court的人就笑了 让我不要紧张 不会有那种事情。
我觉得你要打电话去问，什么时候你的ticket被处理到，这个court的人才知道 好像规
则并没有那么死，但每个ticket 处理的前后不一样，如果你担心 真的要打电话自己去
问，钱收没收到 他们都查的到的。 |

order date. Must have nookitis. I chose the Kindle-DX mainly because of the
screen size, native PDF support, and I was accustomed to the Kindle user
interface with my Kindle 1st generation. Plus the KDX is already available
on the market. I really liked the K-1 but wanted more functionality and a
few of its nuisances addressed.
You might consider the KDX an anachronism with the iThing is on its way in
