Both schemes have their pros and cons.
In the real word Signing is usually implemented with asymmetric key and
encryption (of large data) usually uses symmetric key.
The reason is that signing is usually performed on the hash of the message
only thus it can afford the low efficiency of asymmetric algorithm, while
encryption is performed on the entire message and symmetric algorithm is
much faster.

to reduce the imbalance between spokes on the two sides, but then your rim
becomes asymmetric. it's the part that's as close to the road impact as you
get, made of aluminum (read: poor fatigue properties), and also asymmetric?
i think that defeats the whole purpose of balancing the spoke tension to
make the wheel stronger. honestly you see more broken spokes than spokes

他那一批里面做得最好的是钱颖一，因为钱的理论已经是主流理论里面重要组成部分，
钱当年毕业的时候是super star，和去年的Jia是一样。
这次聊天教授并没有提杨小凯，但以前提过很推崇。我自己出国前最推崇的华人
经济学家就是杨，曾经听过他的讲座，很粗略地翻过他那本经济学原理。
昨晚到Amazon一搜索，杨出了两本教科书，四本编辑的书。出教科书已经是非常不容易
的了
他的期刊发表记录也不需要再多说。他曾经和Krugman的一起被邀请组织了四个人关于
贸易理论的讲座。而且我以前也看到一些美国教授在follow他的idea进行研究。
我再次翻了翻他的经济学原理，还是一下子感受到了很多真知灼见，比如一般书上都讲
GE不能解决asymmetric info的问题，但杨说其实GE比流行的information economics
包含了更多的asymmetric info。杨批评主流经济学把消费者和生产者分离，这个批评
显然是不对的，但他就这点展开的关于分工和专业化的许多idea却非常正确（具体请
