如果一个房子漏汽爆炸着火，管道就形成了一个通路，将气和火传到public sewer系统
，影响public安全。
所以每个房孑的drainage要与市政的分离。 |

发帖数: 3320 | 3 是有concrete skirt，我家房子侧面就有，因为地面和地基的sill plate同样高度，加
一层skirt保护地基的cripple wall.
code规定perimeter foundation或者concrete slab一定要高出地面，如果老房子没有
高出地面，加concrete skirt可以保护地基。另外，如果房子drainage不好，房子周围
铺一圈有坡度的水泥可以帮助排水并且更干净，也比土地好看。不过后一种情况，我更
倾向铺paver。
你说的对，没有问题就没有必要。当然如果是为了追求美观和方便走路，就是另一个问
题了，土地是最脏的了，尤其是下雨后。我们家房子四周是一面水泥，两面paver，后
院那一面我正在铺路，这样房子四周都能有hard surface，下雨后就干净多了，也美观。 |

发帖数: 3320 | 9 看需要多少了。 如果需要大量的，builder supply都有卖的，一般单位是skid或者
scoop，2或者3scoop等于一yard，一个scoop也就是15到二十多美元，一个yard有三千
多磅重。石头虽然便宜，但是你要逃运输费用，一般要在70到100美元的运输费用，量
多量少都是一样的运费，所以买的越多越划算。 如果需要量不多，到homedepot直接
买成袋的，一袋子50到100磅，价格贵，但是没有运输费用，你可以自己拉回家。
homedepot或者lowe也有bulk bag gravel，一大袋子一千磅重，大约35美元一大袋，比
小袋子便宜，但是需要逃运费，除非你自己有truck，一般的SUV是肯定运不料的。具体
运费多少不清楚。 |

当然，药还是要的，这样你可以远远的开喷，控制住洞口后，把水管插上，最大水量，
直到周围土都饱和了，开始往外溢水。如果你家土drainage好的话，要好几分钟呢（不
幸的是，通常你会发现这片土排水真的很好，那当然了，黄蜂也不找涝地啊）。这个时
间内，你要警惕是不是有黄蜂从其它洞口逃逸出来，随时准备用喷剂封锁洞口。水满了
后，再把水调小，但还是要保持足够流量，让洞里满溢，大概15分钟吧。整个过程中你
能听到地下的嗡嗡声，消失了再收工。
当然，你要是不幸在西海岸，这水也不便宜吧，大概还是直接喷药更便宜：） |

水接到后院去，只需要到homedepot买些软管道就可以，成本最低。 |

不到就坏了。有些你看不见，比如drainage的pipe的质量。还有siding什么的。所以有
时候一些房子很老了，但因为维护的好，房子非常好。有些才20年的房子可能就各种问
题。
有时候decent的老爷爷老奶奶的房子会很好，老爷爷没事就维护和自己搞yard。年轻夫
妻有孩子有狗的基本就走走开吧... 我就是没走开的那种... 坑啊！ |
