去了patapsco river,发现水很浅，流还急，石头都漏在水面上，估计穿wader去fly
fishing的话还不错，有点像电影A River Runs Through It里面的场景。其他就算了
后来转去Liberty reservoir，还没到的时候发现Liberty ？？ Park的标志，然后就开
进去了，门口收费的老头指点去哪哪儿钓鱼，到了之后，发现是不到十米宽的小河沟，
可接近的钓点也很有限，第一杆下去，收回来是看到鱼影一闪，strike了，赶紧set
hook，结果悲催的……我的drag太松了，鱼跑了，之前听bass老大教导说不钓鱼的时候
把drag调松对轮子好，我这次忘了把它调紧！后来在那里钓了半天也没上鱼，朋友用
bobber加虾肉上了一条mini的小嘴。时间不多了，我们往下游走了走，发现，此地竟然
就是上回jackeycissy带我们去的有个瀑布的那个地方，此地跟Liberty reservoir的主

。。乱七八糟全部翻译为“自由”。导致如果纯粹用中文交流，各种概念完全打架、你
说东他说西。“自由”这个词频繁出现---各种非常不同的意念挂着同一个中文名字来
回穿梭，如鱼得水。。。
从哲学(形而上学)来说，Free will vs Determinism是一个很大的课题。
Libertarianism和Compatibilism都有道理。Robert Kane在Free Will and Value这本
书里把各个方面说得很透。
例如，Marxism是支持Free Will的，评判Determinism(中文好像翻译为机械论、决定论
)。
从政治上讲，每个人都是追求自身自由(Liberty)的，这是真理。人孜孜一生，无非追
求财务自由、行事(权力)自由、生活自由。。。区别在于：别人是否也有权力追求自由
。Thomas Hobbes说世界上的人不可以追求自由--除了国王；Rousseau说世界上的人都
可以追求自由--根本就不该有国王。

用在这上面，监狱里关N多万的吸毒，贩毒的人。每个学校都标为无毒区，今天效果怎
么样？我想大家心里都有答案。
很不幸现在又有人拿枪屠杀了，跟中国那个拿刀屠杀的一样，发生在小学，另人悲愤。
不少人喊着要禁枪，也有政客提议。但是禁枪或者更严格的关于枪支控制的法律，可以
看看今天禁毒的结果----要吸毒的人还是照样吸，贩毒的照样，甚至都贩到学校里面了
（如果你家里有孩子读中学或者大学可以问问看）。那么是否该跟禁毒一样，用更严格
法律来打击枪支？还是打击使用枪支罪犯？或许严格的打击使用枪击犯罪的法律会更有
效，比如任何被确定为使用枪支的犯罪，不管是抢劫，强奸，贩毒，杀人等等，都应该
立刻死刑，斩立决，效果或许会更好，至少会大大减少那些被捉多次又被放出来的。毕
竟，刀枪本身没有什么错，是拿刀枪的罪犯有错。
讽刺的是，大型枪击案件发生的地方绝大多数是禁枪区，比如学校，除了警察和罪犯，

响应大鱼的号召，我来写个流水文。
（前言唠叨）
前一阵子，去了一趟费城 。
其实在美国借着各种机缘，时不时都出去走走，却从来 没写过什么。总想着现在资讯
发达，什么旅游攻略网上都有 ，写不出来特别。现在想法慢慢有些变化，有要把自己

如果50.01%的选奥巴马，49.99%选罗姆尼，奥巴马上台，就是民主的体现。
但是如果规定必须60%才能当选，奥巴马和罗姆尼都没上台，就是民主中掺入liberty的
体现：49.99%没有被50.01%强迫接受奥巴马的领导。

很是气愤,去了附近一个jeep dealer准备fiance第一次看的一个used liberty.那时候
是下午5点.
偶老婆突然看到停在liberty旁边一个新的jeep compass,非常喜欢.(偶在compass新出
的时候已经留意上她了,但是因为没有打算买新车,所以没有在list里面).
看老婆那么喜欢,就test drive吧,感觉比liberty好开一点,适合女孩,而且油耗很好.销
售的对象就是20-40岁的有本科学历的女孩. dealer很nice,谈了30分钟,给了我们一个
很好的价格,但是老婆不喜欢那个颜色.决定回家想想.
回家看看关于compass的review,都说不错.但是说和doge share一个platform,极端不爽
.但是老婆说,我开的mileage不多,车好好保养,而且engine和transmission都是life

我询问过geico，progressive和liberty mutual。
我们都是新手，貌似只有liberty对新手比较手下留情。但是liberty不承认中国驾照，
请问各位有啥其他公司推荐，或者有什么好的方案，小弟真的谢过了，为了买车险的事
情，最近一直烦恼。
其实只要度过第一个月就行了，接下来有驾照后就买liberty的保险吧。。。 |

我的速度很慢，不是加油门，而是用松刹车的方式。结果距离没算好，我的右前角蹭到
了前方车的左后角。车主是个60左右的白女，态度很不友好，叫我打911，并说她头痛
。打完911后，我们各自在车里等。警察来后，给了我张careless driving的ticket。
然后各自闪人。当然，这是我的错。
后来我的保险涨了，我就换了个保险公司，当时是liberty mutual，liability只买了
25000.
一个多月前，liberty mutual给我打电话，说那个车主的律师claim $65000。让我签个
表格，他们好继续调查。详情是，律师说车主后背和颈部受伤，医药费16930。加上其
他各种损失等等，要求liberty mutual赔65000。不过保险公司安慰我说，这是个很小
的事故，当时车损他们只赔了400多。他们会把金额控制在10000以内。
上个星期，liberty mutual打电话给我说事情结了。最后只赔了3000。

liberty tax报的，发现对股票这项，liberty 和turbotax，taxact都不同，liberty
只看1099表，turbotax，taxact直接把所有数据import，感觉liberty报的对，就在那
抱了。还有我的医疗保险不连续，turbotax taxact不能给出清楚的选择。你的如果简
