The current experiment means the information can be transported by the
tangled photon (one photon is also one quantum unit)

小弟在此汇报一下自己的方向,请高手指条明路:
硕士阶段主要项目就是EDFA,GaN waveguide设计,用仿真软件计算电磁场Mode的分布
,lifetime&across-section测量,用Matlab做物理公式计算出效率和Gain spectrum之
类的。有时WDM一下。
通常,我设计最优波导结构,发给工厂或者物理学院,我顶多CAD一个DXF,GDSII版图
之类的东西;
但是,我没有超净室经验,片子是物理学院为我们现成的,拿回来搭建测量系统,开始
各种measurement。如果实验和之前的理论一致,开始写paper。
现在又开始研究graphene, metal nanoparticle, solar cell之类的东西很杂。
请问我这算是什么呢?
超净室:我没进去过,不知道怎么做fabrication和工艺;
激光:semiconductor laser,温控&流控&电路&调制。。。(有时烧激光器:P)
硬件编程:您指的是什么?FPGA吗?

先介绍一下我的情况。
本人做的是silicon photonics 方向, 专门设计模拟测量silicon-based optical
devices. 现在是在一个小公司作photonic design engineer. 刚干了2两个月不到。
publication目前journal 16(1st author 8, IF 1.5~4, 多数是本专业内4th out of
74的journal), conference 15, (1st author 4),
Total citation 178. 他引155左右.

a pixel measures local light intensity by counting photons falling onto it.
for simple counting error assume photons hit the pixel in a poisson process,
the number of photon, N, collected by a pixel is proportional to its area A
. the statistical fluctuation of a poisson process is sqrt(N).
therefore the S/N ratio is sqrt(N) which is proportional to the linear size
of the pixel, i.e. sqrt(A).

这个... 你再读一遍.. 我没说等效光圈是"用来比单个pixel感光量". 我说的是"
sensor的总通光量", 也就是单位时间相机收集到的photon数量总和. 相机本质是对
photon收集处理, 那么photon收集的越多, 信噪比越好, 画质越好. 至于一个sensor
里有多少pixel, 每个pixel的感光量, 这里面tradeoff太多. 不过松下的Michiharu
Uematsu前几天做个一个pixel level的比较. (见附图).

通常说的光圈, aperture,or f-stop, 已经包含了等效的作用(相对sensor大小),
这也是为什么用F-stop这个概念, 在不同的相机上通光量可以比较。 你说的等效光圈
概念不对。
亦即: f1.8 on RX100 has the same photon/square inch sensor as f1.8 on LX7.
Even though the physical size of the lens hole, and therefore total photon
passage through the lens is larger on RX100.

I see. The calculation assumes photons have non-zero mass < 10^{-54} kg;
that's why they can talk about a photon's lifetime in its own frame vs the
earth frame. In theory I think people still believe that photons have mass 0
and don't decay into so-called lighter particles.

同济网不熟悉,有熟悉的可以818.
同舟共济原来也是民间的。是计算机系的学生会(Lei,reinhard)在99年底搞起来的,一
开始请了日月光华的一个站务(clamp)来帮忙,海洋系的一个在职博士(Felix)参与版
务管理。几个月后,计算机系系的一个学生flyfuture当了系统维护之见习站长。
日月光华的clamp见同舟共济逐渐成熟,逐渐退出,半年后Lei也辞去版务工作。2000年
6月 photon担任了同舟共济的站务,负责管理用户认证 协助版面管理,草拟了BBS站规
。flyfuture除了日常的机器维护等技术站长所需的BBS管理外,对BBS官方化非常热心。
2011年铁道大学合并入同济后,铁大天佑站的honger加入站务队伍。同时电子信息工程
的本科生的okito也参与版务管理,他似乎有着很强的官方背景。化学系青年老师的
Schiesser也加入了站务。那个时候同舟共济非常热闹,经常有版聚,体育活动,还有
photon组织的"BBS研究生学术研讨会",参加的同学不少。
然后某个时间,同舟共济就正式成为官方的了,接受校团委管理。再后来,2012年初

First, in wide field you see fluorescence from multiple layers, so the
signal is stronger.
Second, believe it or not, human eye is more sensitive than most PMT and

光电 chinese fresh Phd有多少戏?
老实搞silicon
silicon photonics当然没戏
基本扯淡。。。。现在几个大组号称silicon photonics,其实silicon modulator,
silicon waveguide,passive 的哈
真正active的没有
还有号称作silicon photonics,结果搞了一个bio safety level 2/3的lab
当人民群众是 傻子。。。

之前的王新兵大家都知道了,回国3三年多连年Mobicom、Mobihoc,这次Infocom 5篇,
