Clay-colored Sparrow冬羽(上面的) vs. 1st Winter Chipping Sparrow(下面的)
在野外比较容易看到的区别是 rump 颜色(brown vs. gray) 和眼线(Clay-colored的眼
线只在眼后,Chipping的眼线是穿过眼睛的).
IcyLi的照片里看不到rump,但完整的眼线还是很明显的. |

Orange-crowned和Yellow-rumped/Pine Warbler是同科不同属。
许多新手都对羽毛花纹格外注意，我觉得其实这是个误区。把搜索范围缩小的一个好办
法就是看形状和行为。一个棕色的小鸟是finch还是sparrow，一个绿色的小鸟是
flycatcher还是warbler，从形状和行为上一般很容易判定，这就把范围缩小到科了。
确定是warbler了，再看看它身材体态是像Orange-crowned还是更像Yellow-rumped，这
就可以把范围进一步缩小到属了。这时剩下的工作就是仔细看看花纹，对着鸟书的那几
页看看哪个更像你那个鸟了。如果一开始就过分注意羽毛花纹的话，像Pine Warbler那
样黄绿色的小鸟二三十种，分散在鸟书的几百页里，要想准确的鉴别就难多了。所以我
觉得分类学(taxonomy)不是看鸟必备的知识，不过多少学习一点鸟类taxonomy能少走许
多弯路。好在绝大多数field guide都是根据taxonomical order排列的，没事翻翻，比

三分熟（Medium-Rare）：外边灰褐色，切开有血色。

好的餐馆是按这个标准来的。靠控制温度。

Rib eye steak和Sirloin steak，软的多，好吃些。
如果想一份牛排吃出更多的感觉，就要T-bone steak，一半tenderloin软，一半
Striploin硬。
