I co-slept with my son till about 11 month. He woke up 2-4 times through the
night and would went back to sleep if I nursed him. Starting around the 11
month, he woke up to play around 2-4 am almost everyday. Nothing worked
until I moved back to my bedroom and let him sleep alone. Afterward, he
still woke up but he could play quietly with himself and went back to sleep. |

because of teething, too warm, too cold, hungry, reflux, sick etc .
We used cry-it-out method. My baby cried for 35min the fist night when we
put her in bed , then once 5 min in the middle of the night. Next day she
slept through the night and even nap well during the day! It worked

diaper disposal: seals the odors and save your time to discard the trash,
expecially at night
rocking chair is a life saver for me. You have not experienced how much time
you need to put your child into sleep, expecailly when the child is sick or
teething or something else. I spent a lot of time nurse him/pump milk on
the rocking chair and rock him to sleep when he was sick. Two months in a

was 13 hours drive one way and we split that into two days. She did very
well in the car. I think having a comfortable car seat is very important. We
used Marathon 70, she slept in it easily. When she woke up, we have several
toys for her to play with, although she loves the plastic water bottles the
most. We stopped every 3-4 hours, so that we can stretch our legs and she

I had one Cradle swing and one bouncer.
My daughter lover both.

when he was at 4 month. Then he slept 11 hours continuously. he's drinking
less and less now after getting solid food, at 8 month, the same b4 bed
breast milk reduced to 7 oz. he simply turn his head away from bottle when
he feels full. Now he sleeps about 10.5 hours without waking up.

I will do the train after the in-laws leave. I have sleeping problem (
because of the baby) so Dad takes care of him during night.
My first one was not like that. I did not train him and he just slept
through the night by himself after 4 months.
This one is a little bit hard,especially have the in-laws here who have
sleeping problem too. |

and refuses to co-sleep. Her dad insisted we put her down when she was
drowsy before she felt asleep since she was 8 month old or so. Before that,
we put her down after she fell asleep. Adjusting time is another way to
avoid CIO. If her second nap is early enough, she would fall asleep easily
at around 8 but make sure you don't let her stay up too late. |

如何入睡如同吃饭，是需要训练，而非天生就会。
过于疲劳的婴儿更难自己入睡，更依赖于父母的安抚。入睡之前不能太困，要在drowsy
时入睡，这样更容易入睡。
如何防止睡眠问题的出现：
1周-4周： 醒来之后的一到两个小时内开始安抚宝宝，放在相对阴暗和安静的环境下。
采取一切措施防止宝宝哭泣。最好是宝宝在drowsy而又清醒的状态下放到床上去。
4周-8周：在白天继续关注睡醒后一到两个小时这个阶段，一旦出现睡眠迹象，及时安
抚，让孩子入睡。宝宝会越来越闹，特别是在第六周的黄昏，达到顶峰。这个时候父亲
最好提前下班，在黄昏时用尽一切方法安抚孩子，包括把孩子放在婴儿车上带到外面逛
。在这个阶段，在宝宝昏昏欲睡而又未睡的时候放到床上去，宝宝很有可能不会入睡。

side). Dad burped baby and rocked to sleep.
It was quite tiring but luckily for us it was just 4 months. Also between 2-
4 months we only got up once. After 4 months, baby slept overnight after

through 8 hrs.
We had no good solution to this. Both of us work full time so we can't
continue to get up so many times during the night so we just co-slept with
him. He sleeps perfectly fine when he's on our bed.... :( |

so that there's even a widely accepted term for it: the 4 month sleep
