That rate should be (flop see, win rate)
The definition is
Win % when See Flop = (Flop Wins + Turn Wins + River Wins) / Flops Seen
Similarly, there is a stats relate to (flop see, fold rate)
Fold % When See Flop = (Flop Folds + Turn Folds + River Folds) / Flops Seen |

好像有人说AF不是很准确，要看aggression percentage，包括所有街的。
还有各个位置的pre flop raise等数据也挺有用的，但问题是想看的太多了，最后忙不
过来。
rush里的一个tell是：总是花一点时间才fold的，应该是看HUD的，但这个不是很好
exploit，只是给你提个醒而已，有时候可以根据自己的stat来play back。

Aggressive % on every street. open on every position. 3 bet %, fold to 4 bet, 4 bet %, showdown %, win % at show down, c bet %, fold to c bet %, fold to 4 bet%, 4 bet %, % of calling preflop on every position. You name it, I click their name and see them all when needed. Notes? I don't use often but I make a lot of notes. HUD has more tell than notes, but notes is definitely useful... 阅读全帖 |

checked his stat and still 4bet so you could have a marginal hand...
if he's very tight, the chance is your probably won't 4bet him anyway (and
he probably doesn't use HUD either).

information about laying off. But grass is greener on the other side of the
hill. But CS Ph.D can still benefit you more. Frustration is always part of

Gatech是个标准的FE项目，但是不是IVY

小弟国内top５非清北本科数学毕业，美国３０～５０的统计系读phd２年，１年前拿了master学位。
源由：
想要转学的原因很简单，自己的兴趣，想用数学和统计知识结合实际去研究quantitative Finance；以后想做faculty，或者不行的话去上街做research quant挣钱.
其实现在药厂做实习，毕业后可以很轻松过来工作，薪水也有９～１０w。但是就是不喜欢这种无聊的工作和生活.既然坚定了自己的兴趣，现在不努力尝试一次怕以后遗憾一生。
申请方向:
Financial Econometrics里面偏数理的领域，asset pricing，high frequency finiancial data相关的volatility的研究和option的定价
弱点：
1.英语狂差，２周前刚重考过GRE：４１０＋８００
2.GPA也soso，本科３。６８，master ３。８６。不太会考试，而且修的课太多，我master每个学期至少４门课
优点：
1.不知道数学和统计的背景会不会加分很多，统计就不说了，数学方面SDE |

Honestly speaking, you can get a good offer if you apply stat phd, excluding
some very elite schools such as stanford, berkeley, chicago and harvard.
For finance and econ, no chance for top 10. |

能转为tenure track（因为有老师要退休啦，内部消息）, 所以visiting 的位置刚好
可以为你的teaching提高打基础，需要一些research,年度评审时大概teaching 和
research一半一半。
2. 地处中西部某Metro area，人口200万，房价25万能在最好学区买3000尺左右10年以
内房子（该学区华人多，州内排名前10），有华人超市3-4个，生活便利。这个
visiting的位置工资我不知道，大概10万（9个月）吧。
