看电影,上网的时侯就用5磅哑铃做,不知不觉就做了快有100个,直到浑身发热,腋下
又热又痒,才停住。。。
今天抬手一摸,结实了很多很多啊。。。
BTW, 今天没有吃饭,光吃了一个大鱼,一些羊肉,肚子鼓起来,下午就做了几组weight training, 到傍晚竟然饿了。。 难道负重训练也消耗很多卡路里嘛?

唉,哪里有这么快见效的啊。
负重训练是练完后很长时间消耗都比较高,所以有减肥的效果。不过你这样做100次
的算有氧锻炼。你饿也可能是没有吃饭,其他东西热量不高。
前两天有个MM做箭步蹲我也想说来的。这力量练习不是一天两天就能看到效果的。

weight training, 到傍晚竟然饿了。。 难道负重训练也消耗很多卡路里嘛?

今年听到身边朋友的朋友的故事,不幸几个都是40 出头就早逝,还有的是癌症晚期。
生命的意义在于什么对于有生命的人才有意义。
今年病得在床上躺了两个月,我这才意识到健康的重要性。
第一阶段的1.5 months' warmup 已经完成: 每周羽毛球四次,游泳2 次, 每天8
mintues abs,搭配高蛋白的饮食. 现在精神状态和睡眠达到这两年最好的状态,体重
也从100 lb 涨到105 lb.
下一阶段, 开始Abercronbie workout的第一个section.
昨天order 了一套DUMBBELL, 这辈子第一次要weight lifting 啦。。。
立此帖为誓,如果能再长5磅,就奔。。。

有两种smith machine 当然我也不懂
一种是能前后自由移的。一种是固定只能上下的。 不是好不好用的问题,而是起保护
你的做用。
重量当然重很多。因为只能上下的那了,很多时候你用的是前后推的力搞上去的。。
所以我一般bench press. inclien press. 还胆蹲,都用那个自由移的。保护我,又可
以尽可能的象free weight .

从健康的角度来讲,瑜伽,冥想,呼吸训练,睡觉,泡温泉,用脑袋走路,去重力比较
大的星球等方式在适当的情况下都可以代替锻炼。xd

我认为答案是不可以。 weight也不能代替cardio。你想要达成的目的决定了你选择什
么样的途径,定义健康先。

normally, you need to do all of those 4 in each week:
HIIT
cardio
weights
and stretches.
then your fitness level could be improved gradually.

for me, i climb mountains 3-4 times a week right behind my home
for HIIT.
Take 1-2 hour Yoga/Pilate classes for flexibility/balance.
Lift weights for 4-5 times, each 60 - 100 min.s
Then playing a lot of my favorite sports for cardio and cross
training.
i do all of above each week except the few weeks before a tournament
which i need to prepare for, then i will do that sports conditioning
and real competition matches...

weight training in the past year...

I totally agree with you. If you know me better, you would know I always
promote cross training. I run, I do yoga. Swimming was once my only winter
sport for many years. I played ball games seriously for many years,
basketball, volleyball and squash. I was a serious whitewater kayaker for
four years. I have been in body weight fitness training since middle school.
I'm doing more weightlifting for the last two years, but it never goes
over 50% of my training time.

well, i went to many gyms when i visited China, the least popular area in

for me, i started in kindergarten, horizontal bar and parallel bars just
play with them. in middle school i reinforced my skills and can do some
fancy moves on horizontal bars, like rolls and the first time can pullup
over 20 times. but the true motivation is the functional improvements in
ball games, jump higher and run faster, since i was the 5th one who can
touch the basketball rim in my class in middle school, i was less than 170cm

someone in gym told me that people usually will do what they know the best,
and try to aviod what they don't know. that is why you see alot of people
only playing ball game, and running. because it is diffcult for them to
understand the importance of lifing weight.

感觉浑身的关节都不是很好,腰不好,向前伸伸就疼。
膝盖不好,举重量,跑跑跳跳都会咔嗒咔嗒的响,做多了会疼。
做weight train了之后手腕也会疼几天,休息了之后会好一些。
有什么办法吗?唉……没救啊。

40+大妈, 辞职在家, 很闲, 正好附近的FITNESS CENTER 有DEAL, 就加入了。
送完孩子上学, 就去GYM,
Assessment 是柔韧很好, 超表了, 心肺功能很好(曾经跑步, 现在yard work),
BMI:23%
身高, 158, 体重: 120磅
周一三五, PILATES和YOGA。腹肌是相当差,
周二, 四, weight training, 有body pump, body sculpt, tone and balance一
类的
问题 为什么肌肉没有明显的酸痛?
当然, 我是悠着做的, 怕伤到自己, 比如哑铃是最轻的3榜 :(
还有不会明显出汗, 只会有发热的感觉, 是因为GYM空调太冷吗?
还是我要加码

以前发过一个类似的,就是一次推自己体重最多次数。 最近又发现一个比较有意思的,
bench press body weight for 100 reps as fast as you can. 然后把自己的时间
贴出来。 板上牛人比较多,想知道有多少人能1) 做下来 2) 有没有人能到16 min
以内? 感觉能进20分钟的应该算 高级了。。能进16fmin 算elite 了。。

来增加swing speed,就是没发现那有卖得。

I use 60lbs dumb bells (60 lb each hand) for benchpress and 45 lb dumb bells
for shoulder press. Those are the 2 main routines I do, then I also
exercise my forearms, wrists, rotary cuffs and do weighted pull ups to
exercise my back muscles. So these are basically all the resistance
exercises I do.
I also try to add leg press (i think that's what they call it) into my
routine. That's about it.

偶也来凑热闹啦!当然也是为了监督自己,减肥是个长期而艰巨的任务,jms共勉!
之前一直在跑步,一周3次左右,每次5K,耗时36分钟左右。跑步确实有点单调,坚持
了两周左右,就觉得有点无聊,尤其是在肌肉酸痛的时候,更加想偷懒了。于是去
women's health的网站上溜达,就发现了这个Running for weight loss 6 weeks
program,还可以选择running\walking program。
上周二做了program里周二要做的力量训练,结果用到了很多平时完全不锻炼的肌肉,
导致进入“半残”状态,连上下楼梯都要LD背,甚至开始怀疑自己得了肌无力......一
直休息到这周又重新开始按照计划锻炼。前天周一跑步30分钟,走路5分钟,最后拉伸
。昨天周二力量训练,这次就好多了,虽然做的过程是非常痛苦的,自己又加了一部分
瑜伽,帮助拉伸肌肉,但今天除了胳膊有点酸,腿已经没有那么大感觉了。
坚持就是胜利!加油加油!

世上就怕认真二字 - Yes I can!
今天很高兴。上次去看dietitian 是1/20/2010, 体重当时在clinic专业的weight
loss的scale 显示是221.0 磅;今天2/25/2010, 显示 207.5磅。好了,记录一下谈话
记录,希望胖哥胖妹儿都收益,也不枉我的money。而且啊,被人当面表扬鼓励而且还
是professional的人,真的太激动了。而且她再次确认我的目标非常现实,包括我
break down的阶段性的目标。其实在家如果有亲人啥的鼓励加油也应该特别来劲的,可
惜我没有,所以还要特别感谢这个版面的人。
• 饮食:相对我1.74的身高,每天的卡路里摄入不应该少于1400卡,即使
1800卡也会看到体重的持续下降。我现在每天的卡路里大概在1200-1400卡,被告知
1200是bottom line, 不能再低了。再低我的身体会抵抗我的减重行为,主动的keep
体脂不愿意它被消耗掉。所以我现在的饮食计划很好,不用放心思在饮食调整啥的。至
于卡路里跟脂肪的摄入哪个更重要,因为我carb摄入超少,所以不用多考虑卡路里和脂
