program。大小周期依Program不同可以差别很大，总的说来跟R01基本上在一个量级上
。你最简单的办法是去NIH Reporter上查你老板的Grant情况（有名字就行），所有东
西都会一目了然。 |

around 1.5 million a year for 5 years. It is about 5x the amount of R01 but
usually involve multiple lab and institution. The PI's lab's share is
about a R01 size. The PI also has less flexibility at adjusting efforts.
There are also milestone goal need to be accomplished, or the funding will
stop (I don't know how tightly the enforcement is though).

很多时候是要out source到一些CRO的
实验室拿到的真正能自己用的钱不会特别多， 大概和一个RO1类似 |

发帖数: 2109 | 6 Multi center的一般是U54或者U19吧，U01也有很多基础研究的，不是特别大。U和R跟P
的本质区别前面有人也说了，就是它是一个contract而不是grant，你是必须完成一开
始跟NIH说好了的东西的。
