Increased volunteers in Correspondence Group
2010 年进入回信组的实习义工比2009 年有明显增长。共有5 名义工在回信组正式转正
，并在回信组及其他组承担了工作。
The number of volunteer interns working for Correspondence Group has increas
ed substantially in 2010 as compared to that of 2009. In total five voluntee
rs became permanent in Correspondence Group and have taken on tasks in this
group and others.
不过，2010 年也遇到了不少问题：
Yet 2010 also witnessed some issues:
首先是来信数量的减少。虽然完善了流程，但是2010 年来信只有400 封左右（截止201
0年12 月31 日共邮寄出350 封回信）。主要原因是原有老项目的萎缩直接导致来信数量
的减低。2011 年，回信组将加深和各个项目组的沟通，推动项目组加大来信的力度。
The first is decreased number of letters received. Even though the process h
as been streamlined, there have only been around 400 letters received during
2010 (350 correspondences have been mailed out as of December 31st 2010.) T
he main reason of reduced letters received is shrinkage of existing projects
. In 2011 the Correspondence Group will strengthen communications with all P
roject Groups and push for more letters coming from Projects.
第二是信件的往返次数越来越频繁，信件的存档管理变得更加复杂；信件管理平台亟待
建设。在我两年的回信工作中，我自己就接触到不少多次给OCEF 来信的学生，让我更好
的体会到了他们的成长感受。我觉得这种体验是很有必要和OCEF 的所有成员分享的。但
是，要随时将这些信件采集、整理出来，仅仅倚靠人工手段是很难办到的。
The second is that the increased frequency of correspondences made it more c
omplicated to archive and manage letters. A platform to manage correspondenc
es is in urgent need. I have got in touch with many students who wrote to OC
EF during the two years of my tenure with OCEF, making me appreciated their
growth and feelings more. It'll be great to share the experiences with all O
CEF members. However it is extremely challenging to file and archive those c
orrespondences in a timely manner if we only rely on manual operations.
因此，2011 年我们的一个重要工作就是建立信件存档环境（也就是回信流程中的最后一
个环节）。通过电子存档环境，将所有的来信、回信都有效检索。
As a result, one of the major tasks in 2011 was to set up an environment to
archive correspondences (the last step in the correspondence procedure.) Wit
h an electronic archiving environment, it will become effective and efficien
t to search letters received and correspondences.
除了参与回信工作外，我还参与了图书组的图书捐赠活动，以及监察组的图书监察活动
，收获很多。在参与图书捐赠和监察时，我的一点体验是：第一建议应在一些学校深入
图书阅读的推广活动。第二是将图书捐赠的对象重点放在小学上。
In addition to working for Correspondence Group, I have also participated in
the books donation activity by the Library Group and books audit activity b
y the Auditing Group and have gained a lot through those activities. One per
sonal experience while participating in books donation and audit activities
is that OCEF should strengthen promoting reading activities in schools and t
he key recipient of book donation should be primary schools.
希望2011 年OCEF 能够有更好的发展。
