难度级别中4了）， +4 through 15 holes， 最终晚节不保， bogey #7, #8, double-
b #9 (我先从后9洞开始）.
hit 10 greens, 5/14个fairway , birdie 1, double 3 ( 2 came from lost balls)
最沮丧的可能就是#7, #81的错过果岭后的chipping shot了.果岭实在太快，即使我轻轻
碰了球，球在有斜坡的球洞附近根本就停不下来。 这也是我想换wedge的一个原因 -
现在用的wedge groove都快磨平了。当然，我的技巧也不够，那种能足够勇敢在球下施
加很多力的控制能力。
hole #18 的approach shot是 shot of the day。 #18 par 5, 523 yards, elevated
tee box, and elevated green, huge dog leg right, 果岭前50码处有5 |

Started at 5:30pm, and finished the #18 at around 8pm, totally 2 hours
and 30 mins.
Tee off from the back tee, actually, they didn't put the real back tee
at the tee box. So it's a par 72 6580 yards golf course with 3450 yards
front 9 and 3120 yards back 9, and 71.9/133 of rating/slope.
Unfair, isn't it?
hit 12/14 fairway, 6 green in regulation, 28 putts totally, 1 birdie,
2 double-bogery and bounches of bogeys, and a total of 82, +5 through front
9, |

start from my 56 degree wedge and end up with my driver.
hit pretty good for all clubs (some problem with my long irons, but i know i
can do better when i play the course).
played one round and one half round at Avery Ranch golf course and Circle C
golf club. Circle C is close to my place now.
Played 8 holes yesterday, and shot 1 over ( 2 bogeys and 1 birdie). Circle C
has a narrow fairway, compared to the Avery Ranch GC. |

The front 9 is too hard, tho it's 3200+ yards, especially the hole #3.
never saw a 370 yards par 4 like that. the fairway is like a tunnel . also
it's a dogleg right hole. the green is up-elevated, against the wind always.
i teed off using 3 iron and hit good twice, still ends up like 180 yards to
the pin. bogey the hole at the first time to play, and double-b the hole at
the 2nd time play, and triple-b the hole at the |

我老板上次出差来austin,我们打过一轮，当时他用我的球具，可能不适应的缘故，打
得一般，但putting让人印象很深刻。
昨天和typhoon，我老板在Philly的一个6400 yards， par70的球场打了一轮， 我老板
最后的成绩可能是+6， 而他front 9 是+2, back 9是+4； 我大概是+9 （or +10) -
理由是前晚没睡，一晚没睡，一点都没睡着，back 9 前3洞bogey, doub-b, doub-b，
in a row.
球场green挺难，让我想起了我在加州的sterling hills golf course的果岭；不过加
州的球场快多了。
我老板近50岁，因为工作和家庭的缘故，他基本上没什么时间练习的。他的思想很简单
- 根本不考虑挥杆技术问题，上了球场后，眼里只有目标。 |

36 holes stroke play, no handicap requirment.
今天下午又去试了s59， 感觉好些了。一共打了24个洞，如果只算一个round 18个洞的
话，4 over, front 9 +3, back 9 +1 （有一个par5没打完，我估计bogey了）。 一个
birdie， 2个5 feet内birdie 机会没拿上，当然也没仔细，因为天已经黑了。
还是i5 好呀。。 |

尾为本论比赛画上漂亮的句号。
我想不是所有的人都明白我在说什么，或我说的意味着什么。
每位在PGA tour的球员都有很好的挥杆动作，有些人比Tiger Woods击得远，有人比他
推球推得好，或有人在某个星期里偏偏状态很好，但没有人能像tiger woods一样持续
稳定的赢。过去没有，将来也不会有 - 如果这项运动不换成机器人来打得话。
在golf这项“体育”运动中，技巧(计术)和球员的心理同样的重要，这区别与其它很多
运动。比如网球，你不需要最好，你只需要比你的对手好就能赢得比赛；足球，篮球这
些集体运动更没可比性；
高尔夫里和球员竞技有来自对手的压力，但很少，我也是最近才明白这个道理。比如我
和几个职业一起打球时我最初很在乎我打得不够好，后来我明白他们根本不关心我打得
这么样，他们只希望他们打出最好的成绩。 这里说的就是，除了要比同组的人打出更
好的成绩外，还要比同场地的近100人打出更好的成绩。
Tiger Woods的伟大之处，只是说对这项运动， 是他的专注， 这是他远超过其他对手

昨天tiger连续3个bogey，没有压力，就是没有动力。纵观这4天，俺虽远不如ET你了解
技术，但tiger的稳定性真是超强。单论每一天每一轮，他通常都不是那个单轮最佳杆数
的选手，但是他可以每天保持着前进而稳健的步伐，而不是今天-7，明天就来了个+3。

Not only am I more serious about the each pratice session by focusing on the
"score capability", but also I improve my putting technique, and mental
side. Another example is today's charity golf tourament.
The format is scramble. best-ball from 4 players. Our team score is -9. the
last hole bogey pissed off totally. but anyway, it happened.
so I made 5 clutch putts for birdie. The cluth means 3 players of my team
had put |

say u pratice 7 iron a lot, u are pretty much comfortable with that.
play all shots (if possible) using ur 7 iron.
a 300 yards par 4, ur 7 goes 150 yars, 7+7, u can reach green.
a 340 yards, 7+7, u have about 40 yards left, then try your pitching/
chipping, get the ball on green by the 3rd shot, 2 putts for bogey.
480 par 5, it's 3-shot of 7 again, u can still reach green by 3 shots, and 2
putts for par.

发帖数: 904 | 28 i think it boils down to what clubs one feels more comfortable with. i am
comfortable with a iron approach shots from 150 range, but very unonfortable
with hitting a driver into a well guarded narrow fairway. my 2/3 iron off
the tee into a 380 par 4 give me more chances for par than driver off the
tee.
if i want birdie, yes, driver/wedge is a better bad. but if i miss fire the
driver, we will be talking about bogey or worse.

发帖数: 10701 | 29 下午6点半后溜进grey rock golf course， 就是举行austin open的球场，打了9个洞。
开球之前，就告诉自己说，这就是你打austin open的环境，看看你能打多少。 对了，
这是今年来第2次打该球场。
结果相当不错，除第10洞 bogey外， 直到第17洞，一直是par，一个fairway 也没错过
，击中了6/8个果岭，包括一个210码的par 3。
在第15洞的果岭遇见了Scotty, Ryan，这两位都是pros， 还有两个高中生，Paul &
John, Paul在打他们的高中队。
第18洞就很难看了， 开球进水里，drop后球有送进沙坑里，还没打完 - 主要是看到这
四个人面色都超沉重，一副不开心的样子。
后来Scotty说他们几个打得都很差，而自从我15洞见到他们后，我就大声的嚷着我的成
绩， +1 so far.
最后一个洞完全是我就是想追上他们，所以什么preshot routine什么的都没做，也没
看球道的layout。
明天还有个skins game，看我能不能再赢点钱，同时break 80. |

We played 27 holes. 2 back-9, 1-front 9. i hit 7 over for the 1st back-9. it
was pretty bad. d-b 3 times + 1 bogey. then hit 3-over for front 9, and
another 3-over for the 2nd back 9 (failed at the last hole again. )
hit a lot fairways for the last back 9, like 6/8, hit 6/9 greens. missed too
many birdie chance tho. didn't quite get used to the course's green.
1st time to play with the kid on course. we knew other each for about one

头一次看到连续两天，Tiger进入18洞的时候，面临着birdie or die的境遇
头一次看到4天的常规比赛里，Tiger能以3歌double bogey开局
谢谢usopen网站让俺前两天能实时看到比赛
Rocco是个相当值得尊敬的选手，他的稳定和策略都让人叹为观止，始终保持着对Tiger
的压力，除了Sudden Death的那一洞
Tiger的腿，依然有些担心，他发球上球道的比率下降了很多，希望能多休息调养，再次
完美出发
最惊心动魄的不是今天的18洞，而是昨天的18洞，尤其是球一开始入了沙坑，第二杆又
进了草。那一推，不知道多少Tiger fans和俺一样，呼吸声都能听见，心怦怦狂跳，还
有那一击入洞后的兴奋狂喜。
这周的比赛，很多细节都值得慢慢回味，但是结局始终完美，Tiger，Congratulation!

round of my life so far, -3.
I played at my home course Roy Kizer which is a 6800 yards par 71 course. I
bogeyed # 8 par 3 which was the one I believe I lost my 6-iron.
Then I birdied #10, #12, #16, #17, saving the par on #18 was a big time for
me.
I hit 11 Greens. don't remember how many fairways which don't matter.
I am just so happy now. |
