你说想randy这样的球员，在打pga tour的时候，有一次是非常接近赢。最后3个洞3个
bogey in a row,结果输了。
后来champions tour赢了一次。可能比起其他那些出名的球员来，还不是那么牛。
但看他的动作，你真能感觉出他对球的控制，各种控制，不仅是fade/draw/straight，
还有chipping/pitching的球在果岭上的行为，是急停还是让它滚，而且是无论距离，
10码也行，200码也行，当然，他也会犯错误，但那种控制球的感觉，我真得从其他球
员看不到。
当然，其他球员觉得，只要打得直就行，另外chipping/pitching只要合适的控制落点
也行。
那真真的就是一个feel在里面。
所以我对那些看起来比较fancy的球员基本上不感冒了。
当然，randy的当年可能打球也不是这样，只是现在可能练得少了，想得多了，打得方
式可能也不一样了。
当然，feel还是要建立在挥杆动作的fundamenal correct. |

sightseeing and excellent customer service that you can only receive from
private country clubs.
The course design is also great. It's good for bogey or better golfers
because fairway is a little bit tough. If you don't hit on fairway, you may
not find the ball. So, you'd better prepare more balls if you decide to play
there.

好吧。主要问题出在哪里呢，不管是这几个bogey的洞，还是那些Par，但实际上很有希
望抓鸟的洞。
第一：攻果岭一杆。第9洞，第二杆打进了果岭左边的长草，切上果岭后剩5码。
第二：推杆。第10洞，8码的距离推了三推。
第三，也是最重要的，他的开球出了问题。他在这个场地用一号木比较少，今天总共用
了两次一号木，两个洞都打par了。第8、12、14、16洞，都是开球没有上球道，进了长
草。
开球率不高，原因两个：第一，心态着急，想拼，发力，动作变形。
还有一个原因，事关球具的，现在不好说，有机会再说吧。 |

woods, westwood and japan teen, tiger play very conservative, japan teen
tee shot was 50-60 yards ahead of tiger and westwood, both of them bogeyed
while japan tee par'ed.
without so many people and tour staff, pro going to lose more balls and
score higher.
seems that the difficulty of the course lie in:
very uneven terrain, slope there and here all over place, the deep and small
bunker very tough, deep and mess rough |

drive horrible balloon up slice, 30 yard more offline all the time... hit
3woods 5woods in the woods most of time. no drive over 210 anymore... play double or triple bogey golf all the way...no lack of 4 over...
good shots are few, so remember all of them: finally hit green from 210yards
(with 2 mullgians), a 1ft to pin san shot, 10+ ft putt, 181 par3
overshoot green with 5i, 178 yard approach over water (1 mulligan) with
5wood, 120 yard approach 9ft to p |

because i don't find a course have 450+ par4 yet)
last week play front 9 boundary oak, 3 400+ par4 holes
#1 424 par4, bogey (drive off fairway no grass hard lie, throw back to
fairway, then 5wood
#4 413 par4, drive into trees, and tried to play through tree, messed up...
#9 417 par4, GIR (didn't putt trying to finish 18 holes before dark)

yesterday, there was 2 par5, i use 2 strokes to get closer to the flag.
one is 20 yards, the other is 70 yards.
the 20 yards one was on the fairway in front of green, the grass was cut
very short. so my decision was to putt it instead of chip it. And it was an
eagle attempt i got so excited, given i was crossing the lake to reach the
greenside. long story short, waste 4 strokes to get the hole. from eagle
attempt to bogey.

he missed couple long putts, nothing major
he was just very steady through, up to 16th, while tiger was up and down,
range from eagle to bogey.
if tiger's third shot is not that close on 16th, it is very hard to say who
would win. |

出了六个par。两个double bogey，都是开球到树底下，都没法一杆chip回fairway那种。
后九洞，开始用3号木和3号铁开球，总算找回点感觉，连着7个par，而且都是green in
regulation 那种。打到17洞，500多点的par5，两杆能够着，于是driver开球，立马O
.B。18洞，希望最后一下用driver找回点面子，结果在离石头墙一尺内找到球，杆都没
法挥，最后两洞+5，像吃了个苍蝇的感觉。
同一个球场，driver打得好与不好就是天上地下的感觉。 |

的给了Tiger。

bad grass condition and get a lot of roll. so play much shorther, 210 - 240
yard direct line distance, if downhill even make it shorter
it was a lot of fun play this kind hole, you always want to reach the green
in one shot...
if you are serious, play it as long par3, birdie at this kind of par3 is
not easy ah. even bogey i feel still good. |

12th 190 par3
13th 415 dogleg left par4, my approach shot was 190
14th 563 par5, my third shot was the shot of day, behind the tree, from
rough, 155 to green.
none of them is easy, but 3 bogey seem unacceptable.

也不是为了刻意的work on golf swing，就是傍晚出去呼吸点室外的空气。
下场打球我到是开球击球时戴上手套，但越来越觉得不自然，还是觉得空手可以。
今天打得skins game似乎彻底验证了区别。
我front 9打得特别差，可能是40吧，也和北风有些关系；back 9， 36 （even) , 2个
birdie. 2 个bogey。 一点都没戴手套。
我觉得主要区别是，戴上手套，我肌肉开始变紧张，身体多了些不自然的tension； 不
戴手套，就像我平时自己练球一样；即使我不做任何练习动作，站好了就击打，但
swing和那种control的感觉都很不错。 特别是几个back pin postion的approach shot
..
整场拿了3个birdie， 2个都是从par 5.
下次再试试不戴手套，看看有啥区别。
另外，我以为一起打球的近15位有着职业身份的球员打这个skins game就是玩玩的，结
果pro 告诉我，这里有3-4位就是靠这个谋生的。
他们之间的bet很多。像pro轻易的有4-5个bet(和4-5个不同的人。 |

from blue tee, yardage for 9 hole(#11 - #18, #9) is 3500 or so.
aggregate score is 51 or 52 if count one re-tee as +2, so close to break 50
( or 100 for 18 holes)
average 1.6 over par
projected 100.8 for 18 holes, pitching could be better.... will try next time...
boundary oak 还是长了些, 一竿出问题就失去了保 Bogey 的机会 |

这样也能保持在80多。
可惜的是，大多分还是丢在100码之内。 |

发帖数: 1853 | 30 这个同意。以前DRIVER SLICE的很厉害，所以都是3号木开球，好在6号铁以后的短贴还
好，就是打BOGEY GOLF3杆上果岭，也就在90左右徘徊。不过那时候去练球，因为
DRIVER练的实在没信心，很多时间都花在果岭周围的小球了。
现在SLICE的问题解决了，但也没时间练球了，小球退步太多，现在成绩还不如以前了。 |

AK一直忽上忽下还不如YE Yang呢。。。这小孩不知道什么时候能稳定下来，别老是一

Rory好像很受评论员的欢迎，估计10年会打得不错。
我最看好的还是大美女Michelle Wie啊哈哈！希望她今年能拿一个Major。要是有

i got the samiliar issue, regardless how well of each section of the game,
the overall is about the same. 这个好了, 那个又坏了
sometime i do find it is amazing that the game can be measured by one single
number. but believe it or not, it does work.
mine is slightly different is that my game is more volatile. i didnt see
your triple-bogey, which is a good sign at least.

hoping the lie on fairway would be better, so i can take 3woods and get
closer to green. then i can chip with better control than pitching and
hoping my putter could bail me out with 2 putts maxiumn. but by doing that,
my best case is bogey.

这项运动，很难有所谓的 get around with it这个说法。 当然了，要看不同的level。
这么说吧，如果你认为该洞就是个bogey洞，那可能你咋舒服咋打。
如果就是个正常的，那就是driver
所谓的draw／fade说实话，都是aggressive的办法，而不是正常的打法。这个完全是两
个level的事情。
别忘了，大部分的pga tour player打球都是 1－ dimensional。 能work on ball，
并在场上能打出的都是少数。
这么说吧，你认为你能draw一个球，那么前提是你能很自信的认为你能把球打直了，落
在fairway上。而如果你能draw
出来，那表明这里是有很大的优势。
如你图中所示，你瞄在fairway的左边，不是也能cut过这个角落？
我提过很多的work on ball, 我也给jeamouse 演示，在driving range。 我上次和
balbatross打得最后一个洞，我也演
示了一个球如何curve过树，然后落在左角落的球洞部分。 还是9 |

drove to right side roguh of cart path 180 - 190 YARD OR SO (那时基本不会用
DRIVER, MODERATE TO SEVERe SLICE all the time, 只要能找到球我都以为打的"好" )
THEN HIT A GOOD 4IRON FROM ROUGH WITH 40-50 YARDS LEFT.

结果成了我打的还可以的洞

tripple bogey of the round.
我发现我有MID ROUND SLUMP 综合症, this hole was right at there during my
slump
although it is only 205 yard from blue tee to the tree, but in reality, due
to the uphill, it is much harder to get over it..
hit shortest drive of the round, with 205 left from right rough uneven lie.
但这SHORT DRIVE INTO ROUGH 其实问题不大,
主要问题还是出在AROUND THE GREEN:
hit 5wood okay for the second, with about 30-40 left in short rough.

par 5. layup , still a real birdie chance.
果岭前就是水坑，掉进去，就必须争取个up & down 去save a par.
该洞统计出来的数据，拿par和掉水里的差不多- 我当时扫了一眼底下的数据。
我觉得挺不值得的。当然了，pro们基本上不layup for par 5是真的。
但完全取决于lie.
KJ 稳打稳扎， 不知道他就是reach不了还是有意的layup， 他有一段时间按还是看起来
很有戏的。只是2个bogey伤了他，而他稳打的战术似乎也没啥调整。
woods能赢很多，或者他即使不赢，但也难看不到那去，还是因为他有course managmen
t的displine.
这些话题说来都深了。仁者见仁，智者见智。总之来说，我其实觉得Phil的talent (pu
re golf striking techniques )是高于tiger的,而且Phil 不stubborn (不像tiger) i
n terms of understanding his own swing.

忘了是mission hill在办世界冠军赛的时候还是上海的那个hsbc wgc，把green稍微弄
得难点。俺们国内那两位大佬就bogey满天飞，par当birdie打了
俺也记得俺们tg的高尔夫协会高管抱怨国内场地的green质量差
俺在国内打的场不多，但是对green很有意见
同样在北美，最极端的情况是有次在翁歌华，下过雨后，俺tee short绝对是on
fairway，但是那地软到我根本找不到我的球，陷阱去了。天下奇观，drop on fairway
。但是green还是ok的，还是够硬。俺打球最神奇的一次。 |

assume, even for pros.
I watched last round of Northern Trust Open this year in a courtsey tent at
the 17th hole. It is 590 y straight fairway, front pin on the green. I saw
only 4 players, include Phil M, J.B. and D Johnson made the green in two.
Forgot the fourth guy, whose ball went up to the second tier and he made a
bogey.
I have not made Par 5 green in two shots. Still working on that.
