pulled a pitching wedge and the ball ended up too much left and in the creek
. I took a drop there and chipped it to about 20 feet. then one putt in to
make bogey. it was more luck -- I was pissed about the wet tee shot and
didn't even read the putt that much. |

72par)。因
为时间的关系只打完16个洞(63par)。我的成绩是98（16洞），多出标准杆35杆。估计
打完18洞回到
113左右。有一个3杆的洞我打了Par，大部分是double or triple Bogey。基本上我只用
Driver,4号，7号，9号和推杆，其他的不太会使。
下一个目标是破110。再下一个是破100。 |

too many times i failed to hit shots to the spots i want. but i can imagine
how fun it will be if you factoring in course map and "hit the shots to
spot you want"! play like tiger sort of...
but for guys shooting bogey or less per hole, GPS or caddiePro will make the
game much more fun.
even it is a high risk shot, you can try to shoot a safe first tee shot,
then take a practice second shot. it won't affect your score.

additive我到不觉得有多重要，也许我过了那个近了。
身体协调性很重要就不说了。
无论bogey golfer, 还是single digit, 不能犯大错误，或者有那种recovery的 能力
也很重
要。 那样的话，成绩基本上就很容易稳定下来。

我一般都学PRO抓一把草往风中一扔测一下风向风速。 打１９０那天没什么风。
tempature is high 80F, hot weather will help a little. 也只是在RANGE 上练
SWING MECHANICS 的时候做一些距离上的尝试. 在场上我现在最大的愿望是不丢球，宁
可短 １０－15 码， 少想一些 DRIVE par4 GREEN， 那种有丢球可能的HAZARD， 就
别想 １７０＋ ONE SHOT ON GREEN.
昨天又去打了一些球， 未能重现 ７IRON １９０， 大多在１６６ YARD FLAG 附近。
昨天球的路线较准， 没有太多的偏， OFF LINE １０－２０YARD。 DRIVER OFF
LINE 也在１０－３０ YARD 的范围内。 只要不丢球， 保守一点， 我觉得 BOGEY
GOLFER 可以达到.

my best play ever so far. coure rating 71.3, slope 133
the course was very crowded. only finish front 9 formally. +11. or 47. average 2.3 putts per hole. not familiar with the green, 2nd time play it. chunked several short iron, wedge. driver in control throughout, best driving round so far. very focused and sort of conservative mind during entire round.
after that replay from #1 - 4, 10, 11 in practice mode. still play at bogey
golfer level.

can only focus on a few players unless you are tiger or phil. nick watney
is gone from TV after tripled, and I did not see Bubba the whole day until
he made himself back to the leader board. |

bother to argue that you won the hole.
For friendly matches, I always request match play per hole, never total
score. It is much more fun to play 18 clear-cut games, than one lump-sum
game. It makes poeple more forgiving and encourages faster pace, too. |

球场不难。6300码par72。 因为是在houston,有些水塘什么的。
我的开球开的很好-一如既往的。36个洞里第一轮只有一个bad tee shot. 第2轮有2个。
这个球场的球道还是比较窄而且很复杂，有狗腿的地方都是大狗腿。我的draw shot发

在500码的par 5，开完球就剩下200码。
我基本上都是driver, driver, driver. 开完球后大多的都是wedge/or pitch/9 for
aproach shot。。

short game 手感全无， score suffers. 但是其本上打出了range 练习时的距离。
打的最好的是#18， from blue tee 447 yard par 4 , 以前最为恐惧的420以上
par4. 终于put 2 good shots in a row --- driver + 8iron to left fringe
passing flag. bad chip, but made a good long putt to tap in distance. this
is a very tough course (rating > 140), 虽然没有water hazard, 但是到处是灌木
和峡谷， 球掉进去就找不到。 所以拿 bogey 也满足了。 |

不过王道还是 “have that shot", steady 210 + shot.
这种par3 的正解还是hybrid/long iron.
我有用 7/6/5 iron carry 190-220 的潜力。去年有用6iron 上205 yard green。
但是这种club 上手慢， 通常要打5-6干才上手， 上场就打不出什么好球， 用的也不
多 。 solid hit 的% 较低， hybrid 3 稳定性也不行。 但是当时我lw 都时常shank
。 动作还是不好。
我觉得还是专门练 ， 一两次不行， over a long period of time, 找打不好原因，

there once a month this year. Hole 16 is a par 3, 210 yards, a bunker on the
right, and shielding part of the front, I use a 4H or 3H, if the pin is on
the left. Hope the ball can roll onto the green. However, most times, the
pin is on the right, behind the bunker. I used 4H twice, the ball in the
bunker twice. Since my bunker shots are not too bad, I ended them up with a
par and a bogey.

golf course you are familiar with.
There is a golf course on my way home from work. I play there every month. I
don’t do any warm-up before teeing off except 5 minutes putting. For hole
1, par 4, 316 yards, I just need to get the ball 180 yards in the fairway,
ending it up with a par or bogey. I warm me up through playing the first
hole. |

他们应该知道那green side 很难up & down把. phil 都没能.

起去。赶紧查去DC的机票（我们在FL），周六走周日晚上回，网上订好票，通知双方老
婆，周末在DC球场，机票订好了，不带小孩。老婆们震惊不表。孩子在家有老人看着。
官网上已经没有球票了，在其他网站上好不容易找到周六周日各有几张，票价从120多
到800多一张，电话，搞定，在现场门口有一个Will Call的接待处，出示ID即可拿到球
票。旅馆租车细节不表。
路程不表，周六11点多赶到MD Congressional 球场，停车一如既往地难，在附近一个
House停下，收费60。进去已经是人山人海。比一般PGA Tour的人多很多。
球场起伏很大，打惯了FL的平原球场，看到这种山地球场，很震撼。球道普遍窄，起伏
巨大，树多，但只有3-4个洞有水。
看最近一个洞，2个选手都没有推进4尺内的小鸟推。得知老米下午2点多开球，RORY要3
点多。我们到1号洞发球台等Rory和YE出场，前面看到很多大牌包括南非那个拿Mater

changes, open fairways, large greens. Fairway condition is super, green
condition is very good too. Views and scenery is gorgeous. Really enjoyed
the round eventhough I finished with two double bogeys. : (
Excellent recommendation from ET. If I live in Austin I would play there at
least once a month.

putted from 16' once.
Most of the short to mid length putts are because I missed the green and had
to chip. Not a very good chipping day.
Played the blue tee on the front but can't resist the view from the gold tee
at No. 7, ...the result... double bogey... sigh.....
Played fromthe gold on the back 9 for a total of about 6400 yds... perfect
for a weekend golfer like me.

short game is the key to do so.
Good chipping around the green and pitching from inside ~100 yds would
almost guarantee you no worse than a bogey.
When I have no time to practice I work on my putting and chipping during

重点两项目：
1)driver
2)around green (pitching, chipping putting
iron, hybrid, fw 少量穿插在driver 中。
一段时间下来， driver mishit 明显减少了, driver 开始打出 极个别的300- 310。
300 -310 driver 的ball flight 还是有些特点， 就是高飞元 还有好的landing
angle, 能滚动20-30 吗。 carry 过260 270 的话， 如果是天空背景， 就是那种打得球从视野消失的光景。球的最高点（apex) 较为居中， 靠落点一些。
driver 的距离稳定真的很难， 或则说每次都打出接近potential 很难。 同时也可以
感觉到short game 的波动。 每次注意力集中程度波动， putting stoke 的不稳定不

有好几个洞4甘才上果岭， 主要是对特殊情况处理不好：这确实在场上在能碰到
tree trouble, 球反复打到树干上， 甚至被弹回tee box 30 yards. 这个真的是要
会打low punch shot.
bunker, 我最近才知道利用bounce. 当时3甘没有出。
刚开始short game 还很好， 基本1 putt 2 putt. 后来4甘没上， 最好才能double
bogey 的时候， short game 也没心思了。 +2 和+3 +4 没区别吧
加上赶时间想早点打完。
我看电视上pro 打的是真细致， 他们那种打法， 至少5个小时一场。那时为钱了。
注意到rory , fowler, bubba 等较快， 3 个小时都可能。 但是他们还打的那么好。 |

下面是我开球开的一样差例子，当时的处理不一样，结果也不一样。周六的那个，要不
是推得还可以，我肯定会拿个Double Bogey。
Hole 15, 496 yds, par 5:
On 5/25/11 Drove 220 yds, pushed and right, to 17th hole green rough, bad
lie and a few yards behind tree, 5i to left fairway rough about 150 yds to
pin; 7i, 18 ft to pin; 2 putts.
On 7/23/11 Drove 220 yds, slicing to 17th hole green rough, good lie but 30
yds behind tree, 3W, hit tree, 3W again to left fairway rough, 60 yds to
green, LW to green, 2 downhill putts. |

连续good & ok shot的能力 any day, any time。
昨天下午计划去打9洞。 但是球场tee time比较拥挤。 就只去了range.
结果幸好没上场。
driver 打的很差。很多nadal 的那种网球top spin, carry 150 多。 后来iron 也打
不好。
不服， 勉强调整， 但是每个球之前这个check, 那个check, 在rehearse 好几下。 觉
得挺麻烦的。 也不能swing free. 距离出不来。准确也不行。
前天还较好， 又有打出270多米， good drive % 也较高，hybrid 也勉强 。 真么会
这么大波动？
哪怕我把我打得好的时候的tip 用上也不真么管用。
如果这样的状态上场， 估计先全部用pw， short iron 打， warm up, 感觉好了在
driver。否则double bogey each hole. |

i just had a round with 8 par, 6 bogey, but the rest were just all over the
place. not mention those without many pars scorecards.

green side bunker, take 2+ shots out still far from pin.
<50 yard from deep thick rough, 在不专门练很难调节好距离。
2-3 triple bogey or above, 就差不多了。
手感不行的时候， shank short pitch 不是没可能。。。
course slow play 的时候， 可以接近green 的时候， 多仍几个球练习练习。 特别是
bunker.

发帖数: 4031 | 49 Swing本身的问题。球场上是很难纠正的，最好不要刻意纠正。场上，往往是某一杆，
不知什么原因，这里暂且不讲，没有打好，心理很沮丧，不知不觉这沮丧就影响了以后
几杆或几洞的表现。就像是Dufner，看看他几天的Fairway， GIR以及Putting，那真是
可圈可点。可一开球到水里，大概是15洞，情绪受了影响，连续三个Bogeys，一下把领
先四五杆的优势给葬送掉了。 |
