发帖数: 80 | 2 在美国一段时间的人，很多人都用过教育文件评估及认证（credential evaluation）
服务。最常见的除转学分及H1签证外，还有考CPA和Engineering license的认证。因为
偶然的机缘，我凑巧与三大评估公司（Wes, ECE, 和Josef Silny）有过一定的接触，
在此与有以上需求的F2/H4/J2及CPA等人分享一些我的经验。虽然很多人不知道这类服
务，但一般人会需要使用他们两至三次：上学，转H1及绿卡，考license，或者需要用
国外的
学位找工作。
第一， 三大公司客户服务都不太好，电话经常打不通。有问题可以跟他们发email
，多数都能得到较快的回复，他们都有懂中文的staff或者evaluator，如能打通电话，
可要求与懂中文的人通话(最好装作不懂英文)。这样有什么问题都能得到较细致的回答。
不过他们一般都不会回答与评估结果有关的问题）如果只是与接线员通话，他们一般什么都
不知道。
第二， 所有的费用，一旦交出，无论什么原因，（除非算错钱）他们都是不退的。
第三， 也是最重要的，我来详细说明一下三大公司的评估政策的异同：

我和学校的老师联系好了，她会帮我处理这些信件，但我想知道可能会有些什么信件，
老师是否需要一些另外的关于我的信息才能填写（比如当初填写的报名表或成绩单）？
当时报名考RN时出的成绩单，一些无关紧要的课就没写，所以有些担心CGFNS会认为成
绩单有出入，而认为当时的信息有假。

。到现在还没有消息。这credentialing在德州一般多长时间啊？我当初尽早考试尽早
交材料就是希望尽早能上班的。 |

在美国当中小学老师，虽然每一个州都有自己的标准，但基本都要求老师有教学执照(
Teaching Credential)才能教书。反而是当大学老师不必有教学执照。大部份的大学聘
请有博士学位的人教大学，但某些专业有硕士学位，甚至学士学位的人，也能教书。笔
者在旧金山社区大学工作的时候，学校飞机设备维修系的系主任，就连硕士学位都没有
，照样当系主任。可是，对于中小学老师，甚至学前班老师的教学资格，政府就规定得
非常严格，就算是博士后，没有教学执照都不可以教书。在私立学校教书不一定要有执
照，但在公立学校教书就一定要。 目前，在加州公立中小学通行的教学执照有
四种：永久执照（Life Credential,永远不需要更新的执照，在1986年以后已经不再发
）；专业执照 (Professional Cleared Credential)；初级执照(Preliminary
Credential)；和临时执照(Emergency Credential)。前三种执照，都分为专家执照（

2。过了CBEST后，找到任何一家有teacher program的大学，申请进入program.
3。在大约两年时间内，念完teacher program的所有课程，并完成student teaching(
教学实习）。
3.1 在此期间，考过CSET（一般是3个tests):
3.1.1.如果打算教幼儿园或者小学(k-6)，考multiple subject
3.1.2.如果打算教中学(7-12)，考single subject
4.teacher program 结束并拿到preliminary teacher credential后，开始教书，同时
再用大约两年时间接受适当培训（一般都在你教书的学区进行），拿到clear teacher
credential. 注意，你必须在拿到preliminary credential以后的5年内clear your
preliminary credential,否则preliminary credential会失效。

说 “If you are a medical school graduate when you submit your first exam application, your medical education

她现在可能将被逐出中国。那篇文章引发国家掌控下的媒体的严厉指责，以及一名政府
发言人的公开驳斥和铺天盖地的网络谩骂。
这名记者叫高洁(Ursula Gauthier)，是新闻杂志《新观察家》(L'Obs)的驻京记者。如
果记者证件得不到续签，她必须在1月1日之前离开中国。证件续签是数以百计的外国驻
华记者都要经历的一个常规程序，通常在11月和12月初进行。高洁在接受采访时说，截
至周二，她尚未从中国外交部收到允许她留下来的通知，也未从法国外交官那里看到任
何类似的迹象。法国外交官向中国官员提起过她的情况。
如果被迫离开，高洁将是半岛电视台(Al Jazeera)英语记者陈嘉韵(Melissa Chan)离开
中国之后，首位被中国驱逐的外国记者。2012年，在报道了强制圈地和被称为“黑监狱

推,下颌不动. 我的问题如下:
1. 我雇主的保险能cover大部分手术费用,但是接受我保险的只有大学医院,这是个
teaching hospital/resident clinic 这就意味着residency doctor会参与手术. 可是
我讨厌当小白鼠的感觉,感觉residency doctor水平肯定不高,这种手术0.001%失败的
风 险我都不愿意去冒
我住的城市里所有的oral surgeon都问了一遍都不接受我的保险,除了这个大学医院我
别无选择,但就是不甘心! 不知道是不是应该去邻近的芝加哥找一个自己操刀而且还接
受我保险的oralsurgeon呢?
2. 我打听到的Yale 大学医院也做这样的手术(我生活在中西部,坐飞机到耶鲁俩小时),
主治医生是哈佛医学院毕业的. 虽然这个也是大学医院residency doctor也会参与手
术 , 但是医院名气和主治医生的credential都比我生活城市的大学医院要好很多. 这

（当时是学校出的）。 但公司要求你学校直接邮寄transcript给他们。我的学位是英
文的，但因为不是美国的，所以也要做。 还好，我们学校非常迅速地把transcript邮
寄给他们了（赞一下新加坡国立大学）。
