遇到这本中学生读物前已经好久没有投缘的书进账了。Gandhi：Fighter without a
Sword是儿子从学校的免费书堆里淘回来的，书页枯黄如古籍状。书于1950年出版–那
时甘地被刺刚刚两年–次年获得美国少年图书最高奖的「银牌」Newbury Honor。作者
是美国颇有名气的儿童读物作家Jeanette Eaton。看来这书在美国读者不少–儿子拿到
的这本是1970年第十四次印刷。儿子读了书，写进读书日志里。老师在日志的Gandhi一
词旁边批：「One of my favorites!」
几年前看过得奥斯卡奖的电影《甘地》。那时很受震撼，连看两遍。后来跟一个从印度

body sedan as the buick roadmaster.
My suggestion is, get a 1994-1996 roadmaster wagon, several reasons for that,
(1)you will get LT1 engine, which can be safely and easily modded to get
over 300 HP, 350 ft.lb. It can pull fairly quick and gas mileage is way
better than pre-1994 models.
(2) for wagons, you get plenty room, you can use the third row seat or
