Texas center to expedite EAD. But I also saw people saying that local
offices longer issue interim EADs. Which information is correct? Here is the
info from USCIS website, it sounds like that they are still doing it. I am

“近期会换老板”，可是今儿刚上班就得知本来要做我老板的反悔了，估计是找到了更

interim driver license。请问我能把这个interim driver license和我将要过期的
driver license一起出示给TSA让我过安检吗？
另外没有美国签证的中国护照（老护照已经过期）是不是也可以呢？

发帖数: 28 | 12 目前来看10月30日之前的EAD已基本审理完了.估计大部分人可以在最近的一段时间里得
到消息了. 如果在90天里没有消息,而又着急需要EAD,可以申请interim EAD.(相当于临
时EAD) 可以在当地的移民中心申请.interim EAD需要多长时间批准,我不是很清楚.但
是从一些网站上看,有的人当天就收到了.大家可以和自己的律师联系,主要是问问需要
一些什么材料.

appointment needed. You only need to bring the original OPT application
receipt and your passport. Wait in the line for half an hour. Just tell them
that your EAD is overdue. Then they will give you a form to fill out. Wait
another hour and they will call you name to take a picture, then the card will
be given to you. No fee is charged. The card is good for 3 months. So you can
use it to start work while waiting for the formal |

到时候security officer会先审查你的paperwork，觉得没有太大问题的话，就给你
interim clearance （大概2天）。 interim clearance的被拒几率是30%左右。拿到了
interim你可以开始干活了，只是有些地方你不能access。拿到了interim clearance后
，final clearance被拒几率是1%。
如果你朋友已经拿到了ChinaLake的official offer，证明她应该通过了interim
clearance。只是最后paperwork没有递交给OPM。最后clearance是由OPM来做的。
