更具可比性的是Richmond Hill或者Marhkam，都是多伦多北边的城市。

华裔40%，光第一语言是普通话的就10%。你觉得生活的便利度能比吗？

特别是听他们练习各位大师的经典和曾经熟悉的曲目。
女儿弹琴时，儿子经常会拿出小提琴来合奏。最近女儿学弹Scarborough Fair，因为它
是我国内大学时的favorite，就跟着哼唱，儿子也拿出小提琴助兴。没听儿子以前拉过
这首歌，就好奇他怎么能拉得合拍。他说学校里用flute吹过。女儿曾经很佩服地说，
凡是哥哥用笛子吹过的歌，就会用小提琴拉；只要哥哥play（吹或拉）过的歌就总能记
住notes。
真是很享受孩子们一起演奏，这是陪他们学乐器的重大收获之一。用手机录下了他们合
奏的Scarborough Fair，有时间就听一听。一个心愿有一天儿子和女儿可以在比较正式
的场合同台演奏。

发帖数: 7933 | 41 这年头新移民都直接奔Markham和Richmond Hill置屋。还真没见过去多伦多的唐人街吃
饭的，一般都是highway 7附近或者去scarborough的边界线逛逛。说到“解放区”，
Richmond Hill，Markham，Scarborough，North York也是一个吧？起码50万华人。
不过加拿大的华人贫富分化太大，根本是两个世界。所以很难用一种论点来总结这个城
市到底如何。
很同意楼上某人讲的，加拿大没有追求卓越的心态。美国关键人多，想卓越的比例未必
高很多，但是总数多太多了。今後中国13亿人，绝对是宝贵的财富。 |

43232）买了一辆Acura 2015 rdx awd。之后没几天，driver side mirror就坏了。去
dealer两次，没修好，第二次更是make it completely cracked （看头像）。他们开
始都没告诉我，
后来才是我自己发现全部弄坏。他们也没有offer一个loaner就让我开车损坏的side

然后职业队加入。足总杯传统长，有许多浪漫回忆，低级别球队
如果能爆冷战胜高级别球队，会让球迷回忆一辈子。现在的话，
对低级别球队还是一个重要财源。每赢一轮，足总都会发奖金，
1万2万的，对小球队都是大钱。更重要的是，小球队如果一旦抽
中英超球队，比如非职业的 Scarborough 抽中主场对 Chelsea，
不仅对球员是一生一次的机会，对俱乐部来说，因为有电视转播，
所得收入可以让球会还清债务，维持好几年，说一场FA Cup tie
救了一个俱乐部，真不是乱说的。那场比赛据说因为Sky 直播，
加上门票由5镑涨到25镑，Scarborough 收入 30万。由此可见小
俱乐部经营艰难。也可以理解为什么小俱乐部常常主动要求放弃
主场要到对方的大场子踢，现在FA已经不允许这么做。
联赛杯(League Cup)是Football League球队之间的杯赛，这个
League就是职业联赛。重要性就小多了。现在跟赞助商叫
Carling Cup。

是enya那种虚无飘渺的脱俗，nana mouskouri很实。后来再听simon & garfunkel和其
他人的scarborough fair，总是除却巫山不是云了。可惜我找不到这支歌的下载版本。
