692sqf，内有冰箱、中央空调（取暖用gas，制冷用电）、洗衣机和烘干机。小区设施
齐全，有hot tub、游泳池、健身房、tanning room、台球桌，还可以免费在leasing

月租金$745，小区leasing office的要价高于这个，因为我是老住户，所以租金相对便
宜。

我住的地方还是很多人的.还有小的亚洲超市呢.靠近78Ave.

layffett?(忘记怎么写了)里开boulder近.到denver就远了点.

长。大概新店开张的关系吧。
出来发现食物没有收税。我记得Westminster食品是收税的，难道是开业酬宾？
开这个店好处是Denver北边多了一个亚洲店，缺点是在一堆老美店之间，没有形成一个
亚洲店的商圈（像Aurora或者Denver太平洋那样，有餐馆之类的）。
另外，Denver明年情人节要开五个Trade Joe，感兴趣的可以关注。 |

出国前没有打疫苗，没有小黄本，所以要么在体检医生那里打疫苗，问了几个诊所，最
便宜的要260刀；要不去health department打。保险公司和医生都说成年人的疫苗不
cover,太黑心了。

亚特兰大市区及近郊有近30所能提供高中教育的私立学校，其中有住宿条件的7-8所。
在这近30所学校中，比较出名的就要数Westminster。这所学校每年都有学生考上美国
著名大学，如哈佛，耶鲁和普林斯顿等；但是这所学校的要求却是比较高，它只录取
SSAT(类似于中国的中考）考试成绩在前百分之十的学生。她的学费每年也要2万多美元
左右，而且还不提供住宿。很多私立学校没有面试要求，顶多也就是电话面试，而
Westminster要求考生到学校面试，这对大陆同学来说很困难。 综合来看，这所学校不
错但是很不容易进。Westminster毕业生考进名大学的比例比一般公立中学的都要高。
我们去过Westminster几次，校园师生等看上去也很不错。
当然也不能说其它的学校不好，只能说在综合实力上次一点。而且学校也是有着不同的
需求，如果您的孩子就是想过来上一个高中，我们可以为孩子找到不需要考试就直接录
取的学校。如果想去好一点的学习，一般要求要有一定的考试成绩。总之，根据您的不
同需求，我们可以提供各种学校供您选择。

我看大家讨论diana和kate的婚礼，都说一个大气华丽，一个典雅低调， 大家可想

Diana的婚礼是在San Paul's church举行的，之所以不在最有名的westminster
Abbey就是因为客人太多，3500个，来宾包括美国总统的老婆，很多国家的首脑。 由于
san paul's 很大，为了让婚纱配的起这么大的场合，Diana的婚纱的后摆多长？25
feet。这是设计师特意设计的。头纱也有26 feet.

提醒一下大家，选择餐厅吃皇帝蟹的时候，价钱不是越低越好，低价的餐厅可能会另外
收费，或者要求额外消费，甚者还有缺斤少两的问题，所以最好选择一些信誉高味道好
的餐厅，这样可以享受到好吃的皇帝蟹之外，用餐的过程也会更愉快。另外，我个人不
建议点盖饭，用蒸皇帝蟹留下的蟹汁拌饭会更好吃更实惠。
生活在寒冷海域里的皇帝蟹（King Crab，又称：阿拉斯加皇帝蟹）体型巨大，有长长
的腿，外壳布满了尖尖的刺，看起来好像科幻片里的怪兽一样，但它却是阿拉斯加海域
中的珍宝，每只体重约为5－15磅。温哥华离阿拉斯加海域较近，所以几乎全年任何时
候都有皇帝蟹供应。即使如此，每年大约从2月底，3月初开始，温哥华的皇帝蟹供应量
就会明显增多，而且持续大约3－4周的时间。这段时间可以说是吃皇帝蟹是最佳时段，
除了售价会比平时明显降低之外，和其他时间相比较也会更新鲜。所以建议想吃皇帝蟹
或者是喜欢吃皇帝蟹的人尽量在这段时间内品尝。
由于死的皇帝蟹会发出毒素而且肉质会很快变坏，所以在餐馆或者在生鲜店买皇帝蟹的
