看到网上很多朋友要求大家给评估自己的CASE, 很多热心的网友在回复时会说EB1A弱些
,EB1B ENOUGH.
其实按照律师给出的统计数字来看, EB1A通过率不到50%,而EB1B类的通过率在90%. 刹
一看,的确是EB1B 类很容易通过. 可是既然不是100%的通过率.就有10%的NOID率.而
且这90%中也有被要求RFE后通过的.我想每个申请人都不希望自己被RFE,当然更不希望
RFE后被NOID. 可是看到近期网上一些RFE和NOID的CASE,好些是EB1B的,就想写些什么给
大家,希望对大家有用, 能最大程度上好好准备自己的材料,避免RFE.

Q1, RFE Letter 里在要求补材料之前有这么一段话，
The E12 immigrant classification appplies to proferssors and researchers who

文章24 （一作7，没有JACS，靠几篇CC吹牛， 剩下的是挂名），citation 284, 会议
abstract 17。审稿70 for 17个杂志。无媒体报道，无奖项，无 membership.
到美国第一站（其实也是现在的，就没有挪过窝，等会再检讨）排名靠后的州立大
学药物化学组。刚来美国的时候很迷茫，感觉自己除了会作反应过柱子以外，啥也不会
。那个时候想法很简单-----我要在组里立足。起码也要让老婆也来美国看看吧！那个
时候除了蒙头做实验也没有别的想法，一年以后算是立足了，老婆过来团聚。又一起奋

我5月5号交了EB1B petition，今天收到了律师给我的intent to deny notice。下面简
要介绍我的背景：
1) 2013年12月PhD毕业，bioinformatics方向。
2) 五篇一作文章，都是三个期刊，两个会议，都在我们领域排名前三。
3) 39个引用。引用我的文章里面很多都是用到我的tool,或者将我的tool build到他们
的pipeline。其中包括一个Science和The ISME journal by Nature。
4）6封推荐信，一个来自日本，两个美国，一个德国，一个法国，一个中国。包括一个
中科院&美国科学院院士。信里面推荐的都很strong。
信里面主要question的是：

，五篇一作文章，39个引用（包括自引），审稿应该足够。结果收到NSC 0002的NOID：

1.Journal+confer 27 其中包括10项公司专利，正在产品中使用的3项
2.引用 30，这个是硬伤，行业领域的关系，技术比较成熟，大部分都有专利保护，高
校做相关研究的比较少
3.support letter 8 篇，美国相关公司director 2篇，一篇独立。 其余 美国1，德国
2，瑞典1，中国2的教授，其中4个独立
4.review只要1篇，律师也claim了，当初建议她去掉，她说保留
三月初EB1B file pp，八天被NOID，工号0150
公司的Frogman律师，公司不让找外面的律师
律师claim了5想，现在承认3项，分别是
1.judge of the work of others
2. authorship of scholarly books or articles
3.original contribution to the academic field.
但是not show strong in any of them.
确实引用和审稿都是硬伤

个program不符合他的要求倒也没啥。问题是这样的讨论在本版基本很快就离题万里，
到最后变成对各校甚至对扇子个人的攻击，极其无聊。
老实不客气地说，我密扇子在这点上要反省。真说academics，尤其是undergrad
academics, Stanford，Duke, Northwestern, Notre Dame都比我密强，也很少看到他
们的扇子们跳出来揪着academics不放。我们老嚷嚷着academics，未免有点五十步笑百
步之嫌。我密扇子如果真以自己的学校为荣的话，送你一句Hoke在recruit的时候常说
的话，时刻想着how you are representing your school, how you are representing
your family，即使是在个匿名的bbs上。 |

查，学生不忿起诉法庭，法庭下令导师不得靠经学生100尺之内，学校还必须让学生使
用该导师的实验室（学生一去导师就不能去了吧）。给该学生换了个导师，学生和新导
师又闹翻，说新导师骚扰他。然后学校以学术原因把学生放在probation,继而开除。法
庭有要求哈佛恢复该生的学籍。上诉法庭推翻低级法庭判决。该生现在还在上诉。

I speculate many small community hospital program will withdraw from NRMP.
Nearly all university based program will stop issuing prematch. But all the
programs will continue using ERAS. I do not see any reasons for them not to
use ERAS. What effect does it have on applicants? For example, you have 10
