前些天和几位同志在练CS，发现其中也有人也在为CS考试日期发愁，包括有些版上的常
客。其实版上有前辈yeye曾经发了一个帖子，总结的很好，我用她的办法也是两三天就
找到了理想的日期和地点，下面是她的原帖，可能精华区也有，还有加上我一点个人的

Review (California Center)。现在我拿到一个公司的offer，很想去这个公司（属于E
-verify list）。现在准备withdraw H-1B visa申请, 再申请OPT extension，我问了
以前毕业学校的International Office, 他们说必须拿到那个Notification of
withdrawal from USCIS后再帮我处理OPT extension，而且我也查到要办OPT
extension需要一个手续叫data fix of SEVIS (这个由以前毕业学校的International
Office弄，通常需要4 weeks去处理)。
我想问一下有没有人遇到类似这种情况的？收到Notification of withdrawal一般要多

当时注册elis时就注意到默认的correspondence是mail，提交后可以改成email
notification。我提交后改成了email notification.
现在case还是optimized。
登陆后在status （draft, submitted, accepted, optimized, closed, reopened）下
面有available actions:一个是view/submit additional documents for
consideration,另一个是view snapshot.
点击view/submit additional documents for consideration后可以上传文件，有一个

12／08／2011 寄出所有材料（这个日期可能不是特别准确，因为当时没想着备案）
12／12／2011 Receipt日期
12／13／2011 USCIS寄出打指纹通知（寄丢了，一直都没有收到）
因为指纹通知网上查不到，我又是申请婚姻绿卡，觉得不会有什么问题的，也就没有上
心。2012年2月7日收到一个工作offer，必须3月1日前开始工作，才可是急忙打客服电
话等等。
02／09／2012 Infopass询问，得知早已过了指纹时间，当天打得指纹
02／23／2012 RFE notification
02／27／2012 收到RFE letter。 要求I864的附加文件。因为老公是small business
owner, 没有w-2。当天联系律师。
02／29／2012 RFE寄出，寄的overnight。
03／01／2012 查看USPS tracking number，说留了notice，因为没人签收，气的老公直说他们是idiots。他昨天来回跑

有的人1周就收到，因为恰好赶上他们可能堆积了2-3周的一次性一起处理。你可能没赶

出了，再一次求祝福。同时，为了回馈本版对本人的大力帮助，下面说一下我的485准
备过程和材料。
个人情况简介：美国PhD，然后OPT，而后转为H1B，未婚。提前列出这些的原因是很多
人可能跟我背景不一样，J1啊，结婚有孩啊，所涉及的资料也会不同。
个人觉得485准备过程中最耗时间的是办理出生证明及公证和体检。大家要提前开始办
理。我140递交以后马上就开始着手办理了。出生证明我是让国内的父母帮我办理的，
由于我家在北京，北京很多公证处办理速度还是很快的，大概从我跟我爸妈提起，到办
下来也就是三四天时间。
体检我是先打电话比较了两三家的费用，然后选定一家，但是预约只能约到两周后。这
期间我去了单位的HR occupational health office，那里的护士当天就把我所有的免
疫记录打印了一份给我，为我省了很多麻烦。体检当天，我带着这张记录和以前出国前
体检的小黄本去的，一个疫苗都不用补。而且我小黄本上记录着我10年前TB皮试成阳性

take from getting the RFE email notification to you have actually see the
mail notification?
Do we have to wait to see the mail notification first and then send the
response back?

immediately right after an email arrives
so I suggest you forward your specific alias email to gmail and let gmail
push notification handle it
or a better solution: sort your specific alias emails into a folder by
itself and let iphone do the push notification on that folder only.

12／08／2011 寄出所有材料（这个日期可能不是特别准确，因为当时没想着备案）
12／12／2011 Receipt日期
12／13／2011 USCIS寄出打指纹通知（寄丢了，一直都没有收到）
因为指纹通知网上查不到，我又是申请婚姻绿卡，觉得不会有什么问题的，也就没有上
心。2012年2月7日收到一个工作offer，必须3月1日前开始工作，才可是急忙打客服电
话等等。
02／09／2012 Infopass询问，得知早已过了指纹时间，当天打得指纹
02／23／2012 RFE notification
