之前在biology版发过, 两个都是PHD项目,biostatistics项目里老师告知PHD毕业生大
部分去药厂,不足的是学校名气不好;biophysics项目毕业生去向就不得而知了,但名气
好些. 哪一个前途更好呢?矛盾中,不知该舍弃好的方向还是好的学校排名.(比较怕做生
物实验,因此单从个人兴趣而言更倾向于前一个项目)

这个文章的目的不是进行生物统计的科研讨论，而是从申请的角度进行分析。
<一> 生物统计学什么? 将来就业前景如何?
wikipedia 或者Google 可以给出很好的结果。简单点说，就是用统计方法研究分析生物
/医学上的数据。这个专业非常Interdisciplinary ，跟统计生物信息计算机 (尤其是
data mining) 等关系很密切。
很多学校把生物统计设置在公共健康学院(SPH，School of Public Health) 里面。SPH
一般包括很多系比如生物统计，营养 Nutrition ，传染病Epidemiology 等，通常情况
下 SPH周围还会有Medical School 和医院，这些机构/专业混合在一起提供了一个良好
