master时间比较短,所以不能不寻思以后找工作的事.请有经验的大牛答疑解惑.
1) 生统的master一般在毕业前多久要开始发简历,找工作了.
2)master能进医院或者一些医疗研究机构或者学校做数据分析吗?
3)现在的经济状况固定工作估计不好找,能不能用opt的时间做类似intern或者
contractor那样的工作, intern之类的工作能找到吗
4)因为是新手,对统计的市场不是很熟. 想问问有那些job hunting网站可以提供统计找
工作或者intern的信息?

医生背景的。95%的地方宁可要md + mph, 没人看好phd, md升级也升的快,气死你不偿
命。

epidemiology and less statistical theory, it also requires better

If you are applying for a biostatistic job, you only need to emphasize your
training in areas like survival analysis, clinical trial etc. A MS in
statistics with these trainings is equivalent to a biostats. |

bioinfo. 传统biostat就比较窄了。不过现在很多生统的人也在做bioinfo 。你可以看
下bioinformatics和biostatistics这两个journal都有什么文章就心里有数了。
bioinfo里有各种背景的人，统计, CS, 生物，数学，engineering。 我比较看好的是
生物+统计背景的，尤其一个lab有干有湿的这样最NB了。 |

纽约州政府在那里，很多实习机会。Department of Health, 还有什么mental health
foundation，总之他们生统的学生实习机会很多，留下来full time的可能性也很大。
